Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa, in a meeting with facilitators Saturday, said the government is ready to hold the fourth round of peace talks with the Maoists anytime.
“The talks date can be fixed anytime after this Monday,” published reports quoted PM Thapa, as saying during the meeting. Government negotiators Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani and Communications Minister Kamal Thapa were also present.
On the occasion, facilitators Padma Ratna Tuladhar, Daman Nath Dhungana, Shailendra Kumar Upadhyay and Karna Dhoj Adhikari informed the PM about the third round of peace talks held in Hapurey, Dang.
