The transmission building constructed for the Metro Channel of Nepal Television (NTV) under the grant assistance of the People’s Republic of China was handed over to NTV Wednesday.
Chinese Ambassador Wu Congyong and Communications Secretary Mukunda Sharma Poudel signed the documents on this regard on behalf of the government of China and Nepal respectively amid a program.
The building, constructed under the NTV improvement and development project, is situated in the premises of NTV, Singhadurbar covering an area of 3876 square metres.
It was constructed at a total cost of Rs.520 million by the Chinese construction company in 15 months, RSS reported.
