Kathmandu, April 5: The Everest Hotel has announced that it would organise a more than a weeklong food fare to mark the Nepali calendar New Year that is on April 13.
The nine-day Punjabi Food Festival beginning April 7 would include 55 varieties of the Punjabi cuisine famous for spicy tastes, the Hotel sources said at a press meet yesterday.
The non-vegetarian selection would include siyalkoti murga, doabe wala kukkad whereas the vegetarians could enjoy sarson ka saag and makki ki roti, which are some of the famous Punjabi dishes for the present season, stated a press release circulated at the meet.
The food festival would include famous Punjabi Bhangra music, they said.
