Nepali cyclist, Pushkar Shah– who is on a world tour-has reached the South African nation of Mauritania from Morocco.

Mauritania is the 62nd country where Shah has reached as part of his world tour, the World Cyclist Foundation Nepal said in a statement.

Shah had set out on the world cycle tour in 1998 with a view to spread message of world peace and love. He has already covered over 100,000 kilometers on his bicycle across Asia, Australia, North and South America and Africa.

“Wherever I go, people express their solidarity towards my campaign but express their worries at the continuing violence in my country,” Shah told reporters in Kathmandu last year. nepalnews.com by Sep 11 04
