The Commission for the Investigation of the Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Monday filed corruption charges against two more officials of the Revenue Department at a special Kathmandu court Monday, the CIAA said.
Charges were filed against Umesh Kumar Regmi for amassing Rs.16.4 million in accounted wealth and Arjun Thapa. Thapa is accused of illegally amassing Rs.16 million in ill-gotten wealth.
The CIAA has taken 22 revenue officials into custody to probe corruption charges against them.
