KATHMANDU: The vice-chairman of the council of ministers, Kirtinidhi Bista, has blamed the foreigners for making efforts to make Nepal a failed state.
Addressing a meet held to mark the birthday of the late former Prime Minister Tanka Prasad Acharya on Friday, he said that the political parties are letting the foreign elements play their role in the country.
Bista further said, “What have happened to our country? People from different countries have come here, demanding that they be allowed to monitor the situation here. How can this be possible?” adding that the trend is ‘ridiculous.’
He also stated that the activities of human rights organisations in Nepal are objectionable. Bista also urged all the Nepali people to unite in order to safeguard their beautiful and peaceful nation having a sovereign and glorious history.
