Bhutanese Ambassador to Nepal Dago Tshering met Prime Minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand Monday and discussed matters of mutual interest, the Foreign Ministry said. Tshering met separately with Foreign Minister Narendra Bikram Shah, the Ministry said.

Foreign Secretary Madhu Raman Acharya and Tshering discussed detailed bilateral issues, including the unresolved issue of repatriating 100,000 Bhutanese home from seven refugee camps in Morang and Jhapa, where they have been living in UNHCR-administered camps for nearly 12 years.

The meeting comes ahead of a scheduled meeting of Bhutanese aid donors in Europe later this year.
