Police seized 109 leopard pelts being smuggled to Tibet from Dhading Friday, police said. The pelts and 14 other skins were recovered after a search of a bus at Halchowk near Swyambhu. Police have arrested suspected carrier Pasang Lama of Gorkha and currently a resident of Swyambhu.

Lama said a Tibetan had given him the consignment of 11 neatly packed sacks for transport to Tibet.
