Three arrested with forged Rs. 500 Indian currency notes

Three Nepalis  in possession of forged Rs.500 Indian currency notes were  arrested in the capital Monday, police said.

Ujjal Kafle, Gokul Shrestha, and Ganesh Bahadur Rai were arrested at  Samokhushi while attempting to exchange the notes for Nepali rupees. They were arrested with 197 pieces of fake notes. Kafle told police they acquired the counterfeit notes from an Indian  national.
