The meeting of the Central Working Committee of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) concluded without any firm decisions.
Party spokesperson Roshan Karki told Nepalnews that the party is still undecided whether the party should join the government. Making it clear that the RPP will not join the government unless it is a multi-party government, Karki said she supported the minister’s invitation to all parties to join the government..
Karki further said the party has decided to go for a new constitution on the basis of a national consensus. She said the party has forwarded a road map for an all-party conference with the participation of all political parties, including the Maoists.
She said, “The formation of an interim government with a national consensus is the way to resolve the present conflict.”
