The third batch of the Royal Nepalese Army (RNA) peacekeeping force has left for the UN peace operation in Congo on Sunday.
According to reports, the RNA men of the Shree Nath battalion included 331 soldiers and 15 officers. Similarly a contingent of 328 soldiers on Sunday returned from Congo after completing the UN mission.
Over 3000 RNA men are currently deployed in the UN peacekeeping mission as peacekeepers in various countries as East Timor, Congo, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Burundi.
