Quake rocks Ilam

An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale rocked Ilam 240 kms southeast of the capital Friday at 4.50 AM, the National Seismological Center said.

The epicenter of the temblor was 16 kms northwest of district headquarters Fidim. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. The quake was felt in different parts of east Nepal.
