The district administration office in Ilam has stopped the publication of New Mechi  weekly newspaper which had been on regular publication from Ilam district, RSS said.

The office stopped the publication of the newspaper because the editor registered an application at the office stating that its publication has to be stopped due to management difficulties. However, executive editor and publisher Rohit Chandra Bhattarai said it was not just to stop the publication responding to a plea filed by a person not responsible for management issues.
