Govt will not permit activities against constitutional monarchy: Dhakal

Minister for Information and Communication, Tanka Dhakal, has said that the government will not allow any activities against constitutional monarchy in the country.

Dhakal said this in a program at the ministry on Monday. “All media houses should be responsible for the news they disseminate,” he said.

Dhakal who is also the government’s spokesperson said that the government was fully capable of maintaining the honour and respect of constitutional monarchy and multiparty democracy in the Kingdom, reports said.

On the recent hike of the petroleum products, he said it was done to adjust the local prices with that of international prices. He also urged all not to confuse people by disseminating wrong messages. He did not elaborate.
