Customs revenue up

Customs offices in the counry collected revenue totalling Rs.2,224,618,000 during the month of Bhadra in the form of customs duty, VAT, local development tariff, special tariff and other taxes and tariffs, RSS said.

Similarly, a total revenue of Rs.1,974,236,000 was realised during the previous month of Shrawan under the same headings.

The revenue raised was 99.57 percent of the target for the first month of the current fiscal year and 101 percent target for the second month.
