Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Pyar Jung Thapa, has returned home after attending the Pacific Army Chief’s Conference (PACC-IV) held in the Thai capital, Bangkok.

Upon his arrival from Thailand at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Thapa told journalists that he held dialogues on security-related matters, terrorism and drug trafficking with his counterparts. He did not elaborate.

Army chiefs from 23 countries including Nepal, India, Japan and the USA took part in the four-day conference organized by the Royal Thai Army, reports said.
