Lamjung gets Ganeshman Forest Award

The Gahate Community Forest Users’ Group of Lamjung has been awarded this year’s Ganeshman Singh Forest Conservation Award, the Ministry of Forest and Soil Conservation announced.

Soti and Banarasi Community Forest Users’ Group Sunkhani, Dolakha, and Sittam Kasyari and
Simsar Patle Swara Jukepani Community Forest Users’ Group of Kaski have been awarded second and third prizes.

The awards carry purses of Rs.100,000, Rs.50,000 and Rs.25,000. nepalnews.com br April 9
