Police Tuesday arrested 23 Tibetans, including 8 minors from Kalimati, Kathmandu, a radio report said.

The Tibetans entered Nepal through Manang district and were about to transit to India, Kantipur FM said. They were handed over to the office of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on the same day today, the radio added.

So far, the UNHCR has not confirmed or denied the hand over.
