Kathmandu, June 19 : Visiting World Bank vice-chairman for the South Asia Region Mieko Mishimizu paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala at the latter’s office today.

According to the Finance Ministry, matters relating to reforms in the financial sector and civil service, poverty alleviation, and other areas of cooperation in the socio-economic development of Nepal were discussed during the meeting.

World Bank director Hans Rothenbulher was also present on the occasion.
