As per the latest information from the District police office of Sindhuli, reinforcements have reached the clashed site of Bhiman police post 18 kms from the District headquarter of Sindhuli.
“Our team has reached the site but we have not yet got details of the incident,” Assistant Inspector of Police of district police office Rajdev Yadav said over telephone at 2:15 PM on Sunday.
He further said “the road is not completely clear and police personnel are bringing some information by hand in a motorcycle. It will take few hours to get all the details. ”
More than 40 policemen are suspected killed, with some reports stating 59 policemen, when a big group of Maoist rebels attacked the police post. It is confirmed that a total 74 police were stationed in the command of Inspector Krishna Bahadur Shrestha who died at the Bhiman police post.
