Samuel Tamrat, special political advisor of United Nations secretary general Kofi Annan met Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at his office Tuesday.

During the 30-minute meeting, Tamrat conveyed the message of the secretary general to the prime minister regarding the peace process and the development activities. He, however, refused to comment on the meeting.

UN representatives is Kathmandu were also present at the meeting.
