Pokhara, June 19: Some unidentified persons made an armed assault and killed 55 years old teacher Rabi Lal Gautam, a resident of Khandaha VDC-3, Lahapokhara in Arghakhanchi district and his wife Jalpa Devi Gautam, 50, on Saturday night, it is learnt from the west regional police office, Pokhara.

Gautam taught at the Thum Primary School in Pipaldhara VDC of Gulmi district.

The assailants also attacked their daughter- Miss Sita Gautam, 18 – injuring her badly. She was taken to the regional hospital for treatment from where doctors advised she better be taken to Kathmandu.
