Two-day border meet concludes

A two-day regular meeting of the 24th Nepal India joint border committee ended Friday with an agreement to expedite the completion of the border demarcation between the two countries by the year 2003, a Foreign Ministry announcement said.

Field work will begin after the end of the monsoons in September, the Ministry said. Officials of the two countries discussed mapping, installation of border pillars and the modality procedure of border demarcation.
