Lalitpur, June 10: The second general assembly meeting of the Tulsilal Peace Foundation concluded here today.

Speaking from the chair leader of the main opposition party and general secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) Madhav Kumar Nepal who is also president of the foundation discussed the role played by the late Tulsi Lal Amatya in the communist and democratic movements of Nepal as well as in the peasants movement and expressed the view that his contribution will inspire the new generation.

At the function secretary of the foundation Bhim Prasad Upadhyaya said the foundation was established with a view to familiarise the masses with the contributions of the late Amatya, a veteran of the Nepalese communist and democratic movements.
