With the view to produce more researchers with quality training for higher education, Tribhuvan University has launched courses on MPhill in education from this session. Classes started from last week with 28 students who completed Masters in Education.

According to Prof Bidhyanath Koirala, coordinator of MPhil program, the TU despite producing students with theoretical knowledge lacks properly trained researches and the MPhil program would help fulfill that need.

The new courses would cater to the need of trained researches, he said.

The one-and-half year program will have three semesters. The course of study is focused on comparative study of western and eastern literatures, research methodology and learning process by practice.
