A trek to Mount Everest Base Camp has been placed in seventh position in world’s top ten “Once In A Lifetime” trips listed by iExplore, the leading online seller of adventure in the world.
Nepal is the only South Asian country to be in this prestigious list, according to the press communiqué issued by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) Tuesday.
“The list shows you how far consumers are willing to go to get as unique an experience as possible, providing them with travel memories and ‘travel bragging rights’ for a lifetime,” the NTB statement quoted George Deeb, founder and CEO iExplore as saying. The iExplore, founded in 1999, is the leading online seller of adventure and experiential travel, the NTB said.
Last year, UK’s leading magazine The Observer had ranked the Everest Base Camp in seventh position in 20 Journeys of a lifetime.
