Kathmandu, June 20: A two-day training for Radio Nepal correspondents in connection with presenting news in a new pattern and style began here today.

Correspondents from 25 districts are taking part in the training.

Radio Nepal executive director Shailendra Raj Sharma expressed confidence that the training will be effective in making radio news more effective in the changed context.

Chief of the Radio Nepal news division and deputy executive director Dhruba Kumar Deuja, senior news editor and training coordinator Dhruba Thapa and others also expressed thier views at the function chaired by president of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists Radio Nepal Unit Khagendra Khatri.
