The traffic movement in the Mugling-Narayangarh road section that was obstructed due to the landslide triggered by incessant downpour from Saturday partially resumed from Sunday afternoon.

The one-way traffic resumed on the section after dozers cleared an area sufficient for one way traffic.

A dozer each from Mugling and Narayanghat has been deployed to remove the debris.

Meanwhile, after four hours of blockage due to a mudslide that occurred in Baghjhora between Hetauda-Bhainse stretch of Tribhuvan Rajpath, traffic has resumed since 10 a.m. today morning.

Similarly, in the Prithvi Highway, one-way traffic has been brought into operation after the rubble that was piled up due to a landslide a day earlier was removed.

Meanwhile rescue efforts are on in Chitwan, Nawalparasi and Makawanpur districts since this morning.

These districts were badly affected due to the incessant downpour of last two days.

According to radio reports, the death toll in various districts of western and central region due to flood and landslides Friday night and Saturday reached to 11.
