Four people were killed in two separate attacks by a tiger and an elephant in Chitwan and Rautahat districts on Sunday, a published report said Tuesday.
In Chitwan, a tiger from the Royal Chitwan National Park (RCNP) killed three people including a woman at a community forest in Dibyanagar VDC, the Kathmandu Post said.
The deceased were Kausila Pariyar, 52, Ram Mani Bidari, 23 and Nanda Lal Poudel, 49 of ward no 6 of the VDC, the daily said.
In Rautahat, a wild elephant killed a local Sher Bahadur Bamjan, 50, on Sunday. He was from Judhikhola VDC and had gone to a nearby jungle with his friends to collect firewood, according to the daily. nepalnews.com mr Jan 13
