At least three Maoist insurgents were killed in separate encounters with security forces in Siraha and Arghakhanchi districts on Friday, reports today said.

Two militants were killed during a search operation at Saharwa area in the southern district of Siraha Friday, reports quoting security sources said. The dead have been identified as Laxman Mukhiya and Ram Krishna Yadav.

One pistol, bullets, socket bombs and documents were recovered from the militants.

Similarly, one militant was killed in a security action in western Arghakhanchi district on the same day, reports said.
