Three persons were killed in a road accident at Dumarwana in Bara district Friday night.

According to reports, a Santro car heading for Pathlaiya from Malangwana, Sarlahi district, slammed into a parked truck at Dumarwana-7, on the East-west Highway.

Those killed in the accident have been identified as Mumtaz Ansari of Makwanapur district, Bhola Nath Gautam of Bara and the driver of the car Pramod Lamichhane.

The driver of the truck and the helper who were seriously injured in the accident have been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hetauda.
