Three passengers were killed and 23 more injured when two passenger buses collided at Gaidakot in Mahendra Highway on Sunday evening.
Three Indian nationals were killed on the spot when a passenger bus with registration number NA 2 KHA 9993 bound for Butwal from Narayangadh collided with another bus with Indian number plate heading towards Kathmandu from Sunawal collided at around 8.30 p.m. on Sunday.
The dead have been identified as Kanta Surathi, Syamati Bahi and Shiva Raj Patel from Gujrat, India, reports said.
Most of the injured are also Indian national and are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.
