The much awaited summit talks between the government and the Maoists is going to be held in the capital on Friday.
The meeting would, in principle, decide on an interim statute and an interim government.
Talking to Nepalnews, Dinanath Sharma, one of the members of the Maoist talk team said that the summit talks will be held today.
He however did not provide details on the summit talks.

Maoist supremo Prachanda and senior leader of the party Baburam Bhattrai arrived in the capital for summit talks.
A Pokhara based journalist, Ramesh Poudel, informed Nepalnews that the Maoist leaders flew for Kathmandu in a helicopter of Dynasty Airlines at around 7.40 a.m.
He added that Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula and one of the members of the Maoist talks team Dev Gurung went to Pokhara to receive the leaders.
He further informed that wife of Maoist supremo Prachanda is also accompanying the leaders.
They flew to Kathmandu from Lamachour of Pokhara.
The Maoists and the government agreed to hold summit talks between top leaders of the Maoists and seven party alliance at the earliest during Thursday’s talk.
