A three member study team Wednesday submitted its report on the working condition for Nepalis in Singapore and Malaysia to Minister for Labour and Social Welfare Palten Gurung, an announcement said.
The team headed by Dip Busneyt, a senior official of the Ministry, submitted the report to Gurung after an on-the-spot study. Members of the team interviewed employers and employees while preparing the report.
Nepalis work traditionally in the Singapore police while Malaysia is emerging as a new source of employment for Nepalis.
