Students at the Tribhuvan University studying English at the Master’s level went on a rampage pelting stones and setting fire to the English Faculty after only 32 out of the 650 students passed in their first year examinations.

The students took the petrol from their motorcycles, sprinkled it on the furniture and set them ablaze before running away.

They also complained about the quality of teaching at the English Department and expressed suspicions about the evaluation of their exam papers.
