State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Carsten Staur, is visiting Nepal for two days from Thursday for political consultation in the changed political scenario.

According to Embassy of Denmark in Kathmandu, Staur will meet with representatives from the government, House of Representatives, civil society, political parties and the international community to express Denmark’s support to the unfolding peace process and to discuss how Denmark can best assist Nepal in the challenging period ahead.

According to the embassy, Staur will be accompanied by Jens Ole Hansen, Head of Section, Department for Asia and Latin America, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

Staur is also scheduled to holding a press conference at the end of his visit on Friday.
