The Bir hospital, Civil hospital, Army hospital, Patan hospital, Bhaktapur hospital and TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj have been kept on standby for any eventualities, according to the head of the Emergency and Disaster Management Unit at the Ministry, Chudamani Bhandari.

A medical team including specialist physicians, nurse, equipment and medicines as well as an ambulance will remain in a ready position at the Summit site, at Soaltee Hotel, Kalimati.
