Nepali Congress leader Shailaja Acharya issued a second statement, within two days after Saturday and said she is not in the five parties’ movement as reported.

“I am not involved in the five parties’ movement,” she said in the statement. “I have differences with the movement from the very beginning.”

Acharya said her “fast” is a “regret” to her parties’ misdeeds in the past 12 years. In her earlier statement, Acharya said she is observing 10-day-fast beginning Monday.
