Senior advocate Krishna Prasad Pant passed away at Birendra Military Hospital Thursday evening, his family members said. Pant was suffering from kidney problem for a long time. He was 69.

Senior lawyer Pant had also served as Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law and Justice during the Panchayat regime. He was also former president of the Nepal Bar Association. He has left behind two daughters and a son.
