A group of unidentified persons stormed a money transfer office at Ghantagar, Kathmandu, and got away with Rs 2.4 million, a security guard deployed there told Nepalnews. The area is some 500 meters away from a police post at Durbar Marg.

Police have confirmed the robbery and said they are investigating the incident at the Prabhu Money Transfer office. The police said four armed persons were involved and that efforts were being made to apprehend them.
