The Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) has provided basic relief materials to 1,074 flood affected families of Achham, Bardiya and Banke districts of mid and far western development regions till Thursday.

A press release issued by the RRN said, “RRN has been mobilizing its staff and resources to provide support to the victims of recent floods and landslides in mid- western Nepal.”

The basic relief materials provided by RRN included household/cooking, blankets, ready made dresses, tents, saris, plastic mats, rice and flour, pulse, common salt, noodles and basic medicines.

The release added that the relief assistance is going on.
