The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has accused the faction of new RPP led by Rabindra Nath Sharma of illegally using its official name and flag.
The RPP general secretary Deepak Bohara said they would file a case of contempt of court at the Supreme Court (SC) soon because the apex court had already termed the RPP led by Pashupati SJB Rana as being the legitimate party.
“Even after the court decision, they are illegally using our party and flag. We will go to court and demand strict action,” added assistant general secretary of RPP Khem Raj Pundit.
A week ago, Rabindra Nath Sharma was elected as he new president of the new RPP, which was earlier led by former Home Minister Kamal Thapa. They have been using similar party name and flag.
