The ratio of death of Nepali workers in Qatar has increased in the six months of the current fiscal year as compared to same period of the last year.
According to Nepalqatar.com, a total of 57 people died in the six months of the current fiscal year as compared to 42 people in the same period last year.
The reason behind the increment in the deaths of Nepali people could be attributed to the growing numbers of Nepali workers working in Qatar.
Of the total dead people, 27 people died due to cardio respiratory failure, considered as natural death in Qatar. A total of 26 people died from it in the six months of last year.
Likewise, 13 people died from accidents in their jobs as compared to one person in the same period last year.
Similarly, 11 people died in road accidents, four committed suicide and two died due to various diseases. The number were 13, 3 and 0 respectively for the same period last year.
Of the 100 people that died last year, 48 people died from cardio respiratory failure, 31 people from road accidents, 10 due to accidents in the work place, seven people from fire and four people had committed suicide.
