Kathmandu, Aug.14: Protests continued against Prince Paras Shah in Kathmandu Monday
even eight days after his alleged involvement in a traffic accident that resulted in the death of
popular singer and musician Pravin Gurung.
Some members of Parliament demanded the Prince be stripped of his title and immunities for his
alleged reckless driving leading to the death of Gurung. Demonstrators took out a rally in the capital Monday demanding action against the Prince who was involved in a previous accident in which a taxi driver was killed in the capital. The controversial activities of the Prince figured for the first time in Parliament while communist students last week protested in front of his home demanding punitive action.
