Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) organized the first Media and Tour Operators Meet in Dhaka, on June 13.

According to a press release, the meet was organised to boost tourism between Nepal and Bangladesh.

Speaking on the occasion, the ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, Bhagirath Basnet, emphasised on the friendly relations between the  two countries and reminded that the citizens of Bangladesh need not apply for a visa when coming to Nepal.

NTB organised the event in association with the Royal Nepali Embassy in Dhaka. Over a 100 people, including tour operators and media persons attended the event.
