His Majesty King Gyanendra appointed Prof Tulsi Ram Vaidya as the vice-chancellor of Lumbini Bauddha University Thursday.

The King, as the chancellor of the university, appointed Vaidya on recommendation of a committee under Minister for Education and Sports, Radha Krishna Mainali, a communiqué by the Press Secretariat of the royal palace today stated.
