President Ram Baran Yadav has advised top leaders of the three largest parties in the Constituent Assembly (CA)- UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and UML – to try and find solution to the present deadlock before May 28 instead of talking about CA term extension.
President Yadav called Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, NC president Sushil Koirala and UML chairman and Prime Minister, Jhala Nath Khanal, for a joint meeting at his office in Shitwal Niwas Monday afternoon and advised them to forge concrete consensus on peace process and new constitution before May 28.
President’s press advisor Rajendra Dahal said, the President expressed deep concern about the current state of the country. He also asked the leaders about the possible scenario after May 28.
