Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa is hosting a reception at his official residence in Baluwatar Friday. The objective of the reception is to assess the current political scenario, among others, a published report said Thursday.

“Ministers, central members of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), the outgoing central members of the party, district unit leaders of the party who are in the capital and leaders of the sister organisation of the party will be attending the reception,” The Kathmandu Post said.

“The reception is expected to go a long way in enhancing bonhomie among the party leaders,” the newspaper said.

PM’s own party, RPP has been pressing the government to induct more party men in the cabinet.
