PM Thapa, Kurari hold talks

KATHMANDU:  Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa and Pakistani Foreign Minister Khurshaid M. Kurari held talks on bilateral, regional and international issues in Islamabad Monday, Radio Nepal said. They discussed convening a meeting of the joint economic commission to promote bilateral economic ties.

Dates for the meeting have yet to be finalised. PM Thapa returned home Tuesday at the end of a four-nation tour of SAARC nations. Nepal is the current chairman of SAARC.
