Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa arrived in Colombo Wednesday morning from New Delhi on the second leg of a four-nation tour of South Asia.
He will go to Pakistan and Bhutan before returning home December 2. Spacetime quoting agencies said Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee expressed deep concern at developments in Nepal during a meeting with Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa. This was stated in a press release of the Indian External Affairs Ministry Tuesday.
Vajpayee called for steps to improve the situation by forming a representative government with parliamentary parties and constitutional monarchy.
